If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we will work with you to make sure your return is handled as efficiently and smoothly as possible. Please review our return policy below as not all items are eligible to be returned.
Clearance and Closeout Items
There are no refunds or exchanges on clearance, hot deals and closeout items.
Home Decor Items
Home Decor items are not eligible to be returned or refunded unless they arrived damaged. If received damaged, please be sure to follow our "Damaged Items" policy below.
Upon delivery of your merchandise, please inspect and open the package thoroughly with the driver present. Goods damaged in transit must be refused at time of delivery. Please contact Rug Fashion Store Customer Service toll free at 855-355-7847 immediately to notify us that you have refused a damaged item.
If your item was damaged in transit and you were not home to refuse it, please save all the packaging material and notify us immediately. All damages must be reported within 48 hours to be considered a "Defective or Damaged Return".
Please do not ship the products to Rug Fashion Store until instructed. It is very important to keep the packaging materials that the shipment arrived in. UPS will not honor any claim if the shipping materials have been discarded. All claims are paid to the shipper; we will settle the claim with courier.
Returns must include all tags, packaging, and be shipped in a sturdy shipping box. Do not use the manufacturer box or bag as the shipping box.
Rugs that have been installed and/or used in any manner will not be accepted for return. Home Decor items that have been unboxed are not eligible to be returned.
Defective products or products sent to you in error will be exchanged or refunded in full.
Instructions for Returning an Item
Please contact us prior to returning any item so that we may issue a Return Authorization number and provide you with complete return instructions.

We regret that all home decor, custom ordered products, closeouts, hot deals and special orders cannot be returned.
Refunds take 3-4 days to appear on your credit card statement.
If you decide that an area rug does not meet your expectations for color, size, etc., we will accept its return within 30 days from shipment, as long as the product is returned to us undamaged and in new condition.
Customers are responsible for return shipping. To help you determine your shipping costs, you may want to use FedEx.com, UPS.com or USPS.com to attain shipping rates. You can usually obtain the weight of your shipment by clicking on the tracking we emailed you regarding your order.

How to Safely Wrap Your Item for Return
Open your rug carefully. If the original packaging material is in good condition, you may reuse it. Make sure all open and loose ends are securely sealed with packing tape. If you cannot reuse the packaging, a heavy-duty disposable plastic painter's tarp (available at most hardware stores) is a great substitute. Make sure to remove all original packing labels before shipping your rug back to us.
We recommend that you purchase insurance and tracking for your rug before shipping it. If it arrives to us damaged, we will not be able to issue a refund for it, but will assist you in any way possible with filing an insurance claim. Rugs returned dirty or damaged due to insufficient packaging cannot be fully refunded.
We highly recommend you order a rug sample before placing an order for a large rug. Samples may be kept for up to 30 days without penalty or restocking charges. Samples may not be returned after 30 days.
Samples may be provided in various sizes including 18” square, 2’x3’ corner sample or a 2’x3’ rug depending on availability in the collection requested.
Customer is responsible for all freight charges associated with returning any samples. All freight charges will be deducted from your credit once the samples are returned to our warehouse within 30 days.
Items received which do not meet these criteria will not be accepted and will be sent back to you or may be charged a restock fee.
There is no restocking fee, however the customer is responsible for the shipping charges to send the item back, and reship a new item. There is no restocking charge on an exchange; the customer is responsible for shipping costs for the replacement item.
Once an order is placed with rugfashionstore.com, shipping may occur within a 12-hour period. We do not accept order cancellations once the order has shipped and we ask that you submit your order cancellation via Help in your account for a faster response.
Upon placing an order, an email notification with the order details will be immediately sent to the email provided. Please verify that the information in this e-mail receipt is correct. Cancellations made after the order has shipped will be treated as a regular return.
Unable to Complete Delivery
Rug Fashion Store will make every effort to promptly deliver your package. We have an agreement with UPS to make up to three (3) attempts of delivery. If we are unable to complete the delivery of your package after three (3) attempts, the package will be returned back to the shipping location.
Please note that you will be responsible for all rejected delivery charges unless we are notified in advance and aReturn Authorization is approved and issued by one of our support representatives.
Area rugs are very costly to ship, and we ask that you contact customer service if any delivery assistance is needed. We will always make an effort to accommodate you!
